Just a Thought
I read this thought today and really like it.

The Potato Gun
A couple Saturday's ago my husband and children made a potatoe gun. When it was finished we all went out in the desert to shoot it. it works well & is ton's of fun for the whole family!
This Saturday Eric, Calvin & Tabitha went out in the desert to shoot the potato gun. (Hannah was at a birthday party that is why she didn't go) They were out shooting for a couple of hours. Then I got a phone call to come and rescue them. Tabitha doesn't enjoy shooting the potato gun, she likes to sit in the car and watch movies while others shoot the potato gun. Well her movie watching killed the battery on the car and we had to go find them and give them a charge. I think I feel like a super hero...........or something.

Ring Around The Moon
I remember seeing this myself one night when my Dad was driving me to work as a teenager. (I was working the night shift) I asked him about it and he told me all about it. It is very cool to see.
What Was That Ring Around the Moon?

Many folks who looked up at the sky last night were greeted with a very bizarre sight: a luminous ring surrounding the moon. Were aliens coming? Was the end of the world at hand? Fortunately, no.Though it looked ominous, the shiny ring around the moon last night was actually a rather common weather phenomenon. According to various weather-related blogs across the Buzz, this ring around the moon occurs when thin cirrus clouds, which contain ice crystals, refract the moonlight. A blog from the Goddard Space Flight Center explains that "the shape of the ice crystals results in a focusing of the light into a ring. Since the ice crystals typically have the same shape, namely a hexagonal shape, the Moon ring is always the same size."
Of course, in the moment, many sky watchers didn't know what the heck was going on, and the resulting avalanche of Web searches reflects their confusion. Queries on "ring around the moon," "why is there a ring around the moon," and "ring around moon pictures" all soared into the stratosphere. A news station in Cincinnati reported that they received calls from curious watchers.
Some folks say that if you count the number of stars within the ring, it'll let you know how many days until the next snowfall. Space.com doesn't confirm that tall tale, but it does explain that a ring around the moon in warm-weather months "usually foretells...a long, slow rain [that] should eventually arrive in about 12 to 18 hours."
But hey, even if nothing happens afterward, a ring around the moon is still cool to look at any time of the year.
The Story of The Big Sister The Carboard Box & Gumpy Guy
On Thanksgiving Day Hannah was sitting in front of my vanity while I was curling her hair. While she was sitting there she opened up the drawer I keep my make-up in and was looking through my make-up. She picked up a retractable powder brush ( It's a brush that opens and closes like a tube of lipstick) an opened it. The brush was all moldy and very gross & disgusting.
Hannah says "Why is this moldy?"
Me "Because last month your baby brother got in to my make-up drawer and threw it all into the bathtub and turned on the water. I thought that had stayed dry so I just threw it back in the drawer. But I guess not."
Hannah " Mom, sometimes wouldn't you like to get a cardboard box, punch some holes in it, put Gummy in it, then take it to the park and leave it there?"
Me "where did you hear that?"
Hannah "on Alvin & The Chipmunks Movie"
I was really relieved to know she was just quoting a movie and that she didn't actually come up with that on her own. I have to admit I laughed, it was funny.

The Story of the Misunderstood Food Artist
No I did not take this picture. If you click here you can see what they did with these Hot Dogs.
Now on to the story. On Saturday afternoon when I walked into the kitchen Hannah was walking out of the kitchen talking loud enough for Calvin to hear her as she was leaving "Calvin your Gross!" I looked at Calvin and he was busy make himself something. I noticed it looked like he was having a peanut butter honey sandwich which is a normal meal for Calvin. Then Calvin said to me "Mom I am a misunderstood food artist!" I had to laugh, I have never heard him use those exact words together so it sounded funny to me. I said "why are you a misunderstood food artist?" and he said because everyone thinks that my food recipe inventions are gross!" I said "what are you making?" he said " a Peanut Butter Honey Hot dog Sandwich".
I think he's right. I don't understand why you would make a peanut butter, honey, and hot dog sandwich. Yuck!
